For a long time, I searched for the perfect image: rigorous composition, technical mastery, the frozen moment. In my quest to produce polished work, I ended up creating nothing but soulless images. I realized that a perfectly executed photograph that evokes nothing is meaningless.

I’m developing a photographic practice rooted in intimacy, movement, and confrontation.

Working at point-blank range and in constant motion, I photograph at the precise moment when distance collapses, when movement breaks, and when time briefly stands still. I do not seek to document the city or tell a conventional story. I provoke situations to make room for the unexpected: that moment when control ends and the image becomes a collision.

The heavy grain, deep blacks, blurs, and broken lines are not technical flaws to be corrected; they are the physical scars of a direct encounter.

Through direct encounters and an uncompromising closeness, this photography explores an act of interruption. Not a recording, but a collision. Not an observation, but a pause imposed on time, placing a single demand on the viewer: to abandon the comfort of distance.
